Provident Care provides clients with assistance in their activities of daily living, which include companionship, personal care, transferring, bed care, housekeeping, meal preparation, medication management and senior transportation. Any request will be considered!
Provident Care gladly services Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced counties. We have offices in both Modesto and Stockton, but our caregivers live in all areas that we serve.
Yes. Provident Care can do a free in home safety assessment and give helpful tips to make sure home is a safe place to be for your loved one.

About Our Caregivers
Yes, all caregivers are employees of Provident Care. They are insured and bonded and undergo a comprehensive criminal background check and drug test before they are employed. They are covered with general liability and workers compensation insurance.
Yes. All arrangements can be made to suit your needs. We know that matching the skill level of the caregiver/client is just as important as making sure the personality matches as well.
Provident Care caregivers are given ongoing training throughout the year by our dedicated staff of Registered Nurses and Care Managers. We have caregivers that are companions, personal care attendants and certified nursing assistants. Every effort will be made to make sure the appropriate caregiver is assigned at the start of care.
Provident Care will always strive to give consistent and familiar faces to our clients. The more regular the schedule, the easier it will be to make this happen. In some cases, it becomes necessary to send more than one particular caregiver to the home. Whenever a new caregiver is introduced, they will always be accompanied by a care manager to ease the introduction.
At Provident Care, customer satisfaction is our number one goal. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the personnel that is sent to your home, just call your care manager to discuss a change. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request!
In-Home Care
It is common for clients to be nervous about having a caregiver when they have always lived independently. Our home care coordinators will help ease their concerns during the care assessment. Often times, a family meeting with our home care coordinator is the perfect way to get all questions answered and put the client's mind at ease.
Provident Care would be happy to help in the discussion of whether home care or assisted living placement would be the best life for your loved one. We can attend family meetings with both our Elder Care Specialist and Home Care Coordinator to thoroughly go over all of the options available. Yes! Provident Care offers our clients flexibility in scheduling as needed. Any changes must be given at least 24 hours notice. However, the more regular the schedule is, the better the chance of having familiar faces in the home.
Costs
No, Medicare does not pay for in home care. However, if the client has long term care insurance or was a veteran, there may be financial assistance to help pay for home care. The majority of our clients pay privately.
Provident Care will send you an invoice every two weeks.
We simply invoice you for the services rendered and we take care of paying the caregivers, along with the legally required liability insurance, bonding, workers compensation, employer and employee taxes, benefits, and other administrative costs required for having a caregiver in your home-allowing you and your loved one to just relax and enjoy the professional caring services and companionship of our caregivers. All caregivers are employees of Provident Care.
No. Provident Care and the client will enter into a service agreement. Client may cancel at any time with 24 hours notice.
