Senior Awareness Day – Website link

Senior Awareness Day originated in 1979. The concept was introduced by Frank Bodin, an Escalon community leader and Chairman of the County Commission on Aging. His vision enhanced community awareness of older adults’ contribution to the prosperity and vitality of San Joaquin County and has increased seniors’ awareness of the many programs and services available to them at little or no cost throughout the County. The San Joaquin County Human Services Agency coordinates with many public and private agencies and hundreds of volunteers of all ages, work together to make this event possible. Please click on the link for more information and ways for you to participate.
